Angels in Marble

I made this card to give to one of my very best and oldest friends.   She is dealing with the death of a close friend, and flew down this week so that she could attend the funeral.      It is at a time like this that I am grateful for my spirituality and my beliefs.   Some say that the thing that man fears most is death; that the concept of the afterlife was invented to help man feel better about dying.   I find the thought of death reassuring.   I am reassured by my belief that all hardships and pain endured in life will be washed away with death.   It is only through death that we can finally set our spirits free.
